Rabbits are also great at digging. They use their strong front paws to dig burrows in the ground. These burrows are their homes, where they sleep and hide from predators.
Rabbits are social animals and like to live in groups called colonies. They communicate with each other by making different sounds. When they are happy, they will purr. When they are scared, they will thump their hind legs on the ground to warn the other rabbits.
I like rabbits because they are friendly and playful. They are also very soft to touch. I have a pet rabbit named Snowball. She is white with pink eyes. I love playing with her and feeding her carrots. Sometimes she even lets me hold her!
Rabbits are fascinating animals. They are not only cute but also have interesting behaviors. I am glad that I have a rabbit as my favorite animal.

Last weekend, my family and I went to the zoo. It was a sunny day, perfect for a zoo visit. I was very excited to see all the different animals.
The first animal we saw was the lion. It was majestic and had a loud roar. The lion was pacing back and forth in its enclosure. I could see its sharp teeth and long mane. It was truly a magnificent sight.
Next, we went to see the elephants. They were huge! The elephants were eating hay and using their long trunks to spray water on themselves. They looked so happy and playful. I even got to feed them some peanuts. It was incredible!
After that, we saw the giraffes. They were tall and had long necks. I watched as they gracefully walked around and ate leaves from the trees. It was amazing to see how they used their tongues to grab the leaves.
We also visited the penguins. They were swimming and diving in the water. It was so cute to see them waddle on land and slide on their bellies. I wished I could swim like them!
Lastly, we saw the monkeys. They were swinging from tree to tree and playing with each other. They were very agile and mischievous. I couldn't help but laugh at their antics.
I had a wonderful time at the zoo. It was a great opportunity to learn about different animals and see them up close. I can't wait to go back again!
