英语续写范文 篇一

Title: A Memorable Trip to the Beach

It was the summer of 2019 when my friends and I decided to go on a trip to the beach. We had been planning this vacation for months and were filled with excitement as the day finally arrived. We packed our bags with sunscreen, beach towels, and plenty of snacks, ready for a day filled with fun and relaxation.

As we arrived at the beach, we were greeted by the sight of sparkling blue waters and soft golden sand. The sun was shining brightly, warming our skin as we set up our spot near the shoreline. We wasted no time and immediately ran towards the water, eager to feel the cool waves crashing against our bodies.

The beach was crowded with people, but that didn't bother us. We played beach volleyball, built sandcastles, and even tried our hand at surfing. Laughter filled the air as we enjoyed each other's company and made unforgettable memories.

After a few hours of playing in the water, we decided to take a break and have a picnic. We spread out our beach towels and sat down to eat the delicious sandwiches and fruits we had brought. The salty sea breeze added to the perfect ambiance as we shared stories and jokes, creating a bond that would last a lifetime.

As the day went on, the sun began to set, casting a beautiful orange hue across the sky. We sat on the sand, mesmerized by the breathtaking view. It was a moment of tranquility and reflection, a moment where time seemed to stand still.

Reluctantly, we packed up our things and bid farewell to the beach. We were tired, but our hearts were full. The trip had exceeded our expectations and had become a cherished memory.

As we drove back home, we couldn't help but smile at the thought of our wonderful day at the beach. It was a reminder of the importance of taking a break from our busy lives and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Title: A Chance Encounter

It was a rainy day in the bustling city when I found myself taking shelter in a small café. I had just finished a long day at work and was in need of a warm cup of coffee to lift my spirits. Little did I know that this café would be the setting for an unexpected encounter that would change my life.

As I sat sipping my coffee, a stranger walked in, drenched from head to toe. She looked lost and I couldn't help but feel a sense of empathy towards her. Without hesitation, I offered her a seat at my table and handed her a towel to dry herself.

As we struck up a conversation, I learned that her name was Emily and she had recently moved to the city in search of a new beginning. She spoke with such passion and enthusiasm that I couldn't help but feel inspired. We shared stories of our dreams and aspirations, finding common ground in our desire for adventure and personal growth.

Hours flew by as we talked about everything under the sun. The rain outside seemed to fade into the background as our connection grew stronger. It was as if we had known each other for years, despite having just met.

Before we knew it, the rain had stopped and the café was closing. Reluctantly, we exchanged contact information, promising to stay in touch. As we said our goodbyes, I couldn't help but feel a mix of gratitude and excitement for the unexpected friendship that had blossomed that day.

In the days that followed, Emily and I stayed true to our promise and kept in touch. We met up for coffee, explored the city together, and supported each other's dreams. Our chance encounter had turned into a lifelong friendship, a bond that I would cherish forever.

That rainy day in the café taught me the power of opening up to strangers and embracing the unexpected. It reminded me that sometimes the most meaningful connections can be formed in the most unexpected places.

读后续写:阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。

It was summer, and my dad wanted to treat me to a vacation like never before. He decided to take me on a trip to the Wild West.

We took a plane to Albuquerque, a big city in the state of New Mexico. We reached Albuquerque in the late afermoon. Uncle Paul, my dad's friend, picked us up from the airport and drove me up to his farm in Pecos.

His wife Tina cooked us a delicious dinner and we got to know his sons Ryan and Kyle. My dad and I spent the night in the guestroom of the farm house listening to the frogs and water rolling down the river nearby. Very early in the morning, Uncle Paul woke us up to have breakfast. "The day starts at dawn on my farm," he said. After breakfast, I went to help Aunt Tina feed the chickens, while my dad went with Uncle Paul to take the sheep out to graze (吃草). I was impressed to see my dad and Uncle Paul riding horses. They looked really cool.

In the afternoon, I asked Uncle Paul if I could take a horse ride, and he said yes, as long as my dad went with me. I wasn't going to take a horse ride by myself anyway. So, my dad and I put on our new cowboy hats, got on our horses, and headed slowly towards the mountains. “Don't be late for supper," Uncle Paul cried, "and keep to the track so that you don't get lost!" “OK!" my dad cried back. After a while Uncle Paul and his farm house were out of sight. It was so peaceful and quiet and the colors of the brown rocks, the deep green pine trees, and the late aftermoon sunmixed to create a magic scene. It looked like a beautiful woven ( 编织的) blanket spread out upon the ground just for us.

Suddenly a lttle rabbit jumped out in front of my horse. My horse turned to the 1eft to avoid the ittle rabbit as I held on tightly and tried not to fall. Then my dad turned around and shouted, Hoid on! All of a sudden the horse began to run My dad tried to keep up behind us. For a few minutes my horse slowed down to a trot and then stopped beside a river. I looked around and realized that we were way off the track.

We had no idea where we were and it got dark. Luckily the stars came out and gave us a little light when we were looking for the way to the farm house. After what must have been several hours, we suddenly heard the sound of sheep in the distance. My dad and I both rode our horses towards the sound of the sheep. As we got closer we saw Uncle Paul with a flashlight waving us over. What a night!
