Today is a sunny day, and my class is going on a field trip to the zoo. I am very excited because this is my first time going to the zoo. My friends and I get on the bus and we are on our way.
When we arrive at the zoo, our teacher gives us a map and tells us to stay with our group. We start walking around and see many different animals. First, we visit the lion enclosure. The lion is sleeping, but we can see its big mane and sharp teeth. It looks so powerful!
Next, we go to the monkey area. The monkeys are swinging from tree to tree and making funny noises. They look like they are having a lot of fun!
After that, we visit the giraffe exhibit. The giraffes are very tall and have long necks. They are eating leaves from the trees. I think they are really cool animals!
We also see elephants, zebras, and even some snakes. I am a little scared of the snakes, but they are behind glass, so I know they can't hurt me.
At the end of the day, we watch a sea lion show. The sea lions are so smart! They can balance balls on their noses and do tricks in the water. It's really fun to watch.
I had a great time at the zoo. I learned a lot about different animals and had the chance to see them up close. I can't wait to go back again!
