比赛将于2022年5月15日星期六上午9:00开始，预计比赛时间为2个小时。
二、参赛资格
本次比赛面向所有报名参加2022年考研的学生开放，无论是本科生还是硕士研究生，均可报名参加。
三、报名方式
有意参加比赛的同学请于2022年4月30日前将报名表发送至邮箱：englishessaycontest2022@xxx.edu.cn。报名表请按照附件格式填写，包括个人基本信息、联系方式以及报名理由。
四、比赛内容与要求
本次比赛的主题为“环境保护”。参赛选手需在规定时间内完成一篇800字左右的英语作文，内容要求围绕环境保护展开，可以从个人角度出发，讲述自己的环保经历或观点，也可以从全球角度出发，探讨环境问题的原因和解决方法。作文要求语言准确、表达流畅，逻辑清晰，观点鲜明。
五、评选与奖励
比赛结束后，将由我校英语学院组织专业教师进行评选，评选结果将于比赛后一周内公布。获奖选手将获得荣誉证书和丰厚奖品，并有机会参加英语学院的优秀学生培训班。
六、注意事项
1. 参赛选手需自备英语写作用纸和笔，不得使用电子设备。
2. 参赛选手须按时参加比赛，迟到者将被取消参赛资格。
3. 比赛期间，选手需保持安静，不得交流或查阅资料。
