Waiting For Oral Exam 英语作文 篇一
As the oral exam approaches, I find myself filled with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. It is a crucial test that will determine my final grade for the course, and I want to do my best. However, the thought of speaking in front of my classmates and the professor makes me nervous.
To prepare for the oral exam, I have been studying diligently. I have reviewed all the material we have learned throughout the semester and made flashcards to help me memorize key concepts and vocabulary. I have also practiced speaking in English as often as possible, whether it is with my classmates or by myself. I believe that practice makes perfect, and I want to be as confident and fluent as possible during the exam.
Despite my preparations, I still feel a sense of unease. The fear of making mistakes and forgetting what I have learned lingers in the back of my mind. However, I remind myself that everyone makes mistakes, and the important thing is to keep trying and learning from them. I try to stay positive and focus on the progress I have made so far.
In order to ease my nerves, I have been implementing relaxation techniques. I have started meditating and doing yoga to help calm my mind and body. These activities have helped me reduce stress and increase my focus. I also make sure to get enough sleep and eat well to maintain my energy levels and mental clarity.
During the actual exam, I plan to take deep breaths and stay calm. I will try to speak slowly and clearly, and not rush through my answers. I will also make sure to listen carefully to the questions and ask for clarification if needed. I understand that the exam is not only about demonstrating my knowledge, but also about my ability to communicate effectively.
Overall, I am doing my best to prepare for the oral exam. I know that it is normal to feel nervous, but I am determined to overcome my fears and perform to the best of my abilities. I will continue to practice and review until the day of the exam, and I will approach it with confidence and a positive mindset.

As I wait for my turn, my mind races with thoughts and questions. Have I prepared enough? Will I remember everything I have studied? What if I stumble or forget my words? These doubts and fears threaten to consume me, but I try to push them aside and focus on the task at hand.
When it is finally my turn, I take a deep breath and step forward. I try to steady my voice as I greet the professor and begin my presentation. I have rehearsed countless times, and I know the material well. However, the pressure of the exam makes it difficult to concentrate fully.
As I speak, I can feel the eyes of my classmates and the professor on me. Their scrutiny only adds to my nerves, but I remind myself to stay confident and composed. I still remember the day when I took part in the English oral examination.
That morning a great number of nervous and excited young examinees stood in the hall, each waiting for his turn to have the oral exam. Some were talking loudly; others reciting and still others walking idly.Like all these young people, I had a butterfly in my stomach, not knowing what to do and just sitting on the chair with my eyes fixed on the door of the room where I would have the exam. Every time the door opened and a young man came out of it, my heart would beat fast. Though I had prepared my lessons well, I still had some fears for it was the first time I had such an important oral exam and also I had had a cold the day before and my voice had become husky because of the bad cough. I was sitting on pins
and needles when suddenly my name was called.I got up and walked quickly toward the door. Stopping in front of it, I hesitated about opening it. I felt my face red and my heart beat fast. Suddenly a kind and gentle voice rang in my ears,“Remember to be calm, not to be nervous and you can certainly pass the exam.”These words eased my mind and I calmed down. I bravely opened the door with confidence. I would certainly succeed.
