Enjoying a Relaxing Vacation
Summer vacation is finally here! It is the time to take a break from school and enjoy some well-deserved rest and relaxation. This year, I have planned a wonderful vacation with my family.
We decided to go to the beach for a week. The beach is always my favorite destination during the summer. The moment I stepped onto the sandy shore, I could feel the warm sun on my face and the gentle breeze in my hair. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore instantly put me in a state of relaxation.
During our beach vacation, we rented a cozy beach house right by the ocean. The house had a stunning view of the water, and we could even hear the waves from our bedroom. Each morning, I would wake up to the sound of seagulls and the smell of salty air. It was a perfect way to start the day.
We spent our days at the beach, building sandcastles, playing beach volleyball, and swimming in the clear blue water. My siblings and I would have friendly competitions to see who could build the tallest sandcastle or swim the furthest. It was a lot of fun and brought us closer together as a family.
In the evenings, we would have barbecues and enjoy delicious meals together. There is something special about eating outdoors, surrounded by nature and the sound of the waves. We would watch the beautiful sunset as we sat around the bonfire, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories.
Aside from the beach, we also explored the nearby town and visited local attractions. We went to a lighthouse and learned about its history, went on a boat tour to spot dolphins in the wild, and even tried our hand at surfing. It was an adventurous and memorable vacation.
As the week came to an end, I felt a sense of rejuvenation and happiness. The beach vacation was the perfect way to recharge and create lasting memories with my family. I will cherish these moments forever and look forward to the next summer vacation.

This year's summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside, where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village, the water in which was quite clear.
I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work, I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English. They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me. I now realize that knowledge is very needed in the countryside.
