从上学期末接到通知担任文科平行班(7)班,(8)班的英语老师,一下子心就出了冷汗,因为一直听说文科平行班不好教,学生也比较调皮,对于学习没有兴趣。
对于我这个刚走上讲台半年的新手来说实在是个头疼的问题,因此我一直在思考要怎样教才能教好他们。
文科班的学生感情比较丰富、细腻,所以一开始要让他们喜欢我这个新老师。
就像艾主任说的“学生会因为喜欢这个老师而喜欢这门学科,也会因为喜欢这门学科从而喜欢这个老师。”
这半个多学期下来,自己深刻体会到了这一点。
自己深受7班学生的喜爱,而8班的学生却对于我的课很冷淡。
老师会很自然的将自己所教的班级放在一起进行比较。
但是不论怎样,我决定要改变现状,在和八班班主任庄老师进行交流后,她建议我找个别学生进行交流或者有时间的时候找一些同学进行座谈。
后来我利用课余时间和一些学生进行交流后,渐渐地八班的情况略有好转。
但是我觉得自己要做的还很多,总结出以下几点:
1.激发学生对于英语学习的兴趣。
大多数学生认为英语学习是很枯燥无味的,每天的单词记忆,语法练习早就让他们对英语提不起兴趣来。
其实课堂是否有趣完全可以由老师掌控。
在今后的教学中我打算多设计一些师生互动的活动,既可以让学生动起来,又可以使得师生关系更加融洽。
2.及时巩固,及时复习。
每天上课前做到对前一节课所学内容进行复习,检测学生们对上节课所学内容的.掌握情况,在下课前对于当天所学的内容进行总结和复习。
3.课后多与学生交流接触,了解学生的需要,以及他们在课堂上对知识的掌握度。
询问课后作业是否有困难,对于作业有困难的学生及时给予帮助和辅导。
4.认真做好课后反思工作。
每
一节课后的反思工作很重要,认真地反思能够帮助我们新老师迅速地成长,课后对于学生在课堂上的表现进行思考和总结可以及时地发现教学中存在的问题,以便及时地采取对策改善教学。
5.建立良好的师生关系。
良好的师生关系是课堂教学得以顺利、有效进行的前提,尽量多鼓励学生,而不是一味的批评和责备,多关心后进生,经常和他们交流,消除他们自卑的情绪,让他们坚信一分耕耘一分收获。
其实我知道:一分耕耘并不一定会有一分收获,但是如果不耕耘就根本没有任何收获,所以我只有通过自身的努力不断的耕耘,才能在今后的教学方面有所收获!

本学期我主要担任大专部英语专业07(1)班英语精读,07(2)、(3)、(4)班公共英语教学工作。
并任06(1)、07(1)班辅导员。
现将本学期的教学工作总结如下:
一、认真钻研教材,继续探索大专英语教学模式,努力提高课堂教学质量。
1 本学期我担任的精读课虽然不是新课,但我并没有因此马虎。
课前认真备课,钻研教材,教学中能总结去年的经验,根据学生具体情况和需求力求在教学内容和方法上有所改进和突破。
07(1)班学生经过3+x考试,词汇和阅读基础较好,但听说能力差,语音也存在很多问题。
这学期,课堂上我除了加强学生的词汇、造句、翻译等方面的基本功训练,还采用课文复述,看图说话,讲故事,角色表演等形式强化学生的口语水平。
课外则通过每周的听力训练和观看教学录象带提高听力水平。
每周定期抽查学生的语音作业,及时指出问题,攻破难点。
这些方法取得了一定的效果。
2 为了了解学生的的英语水平和学习要求,开学初在07(2)(3)(4)班进行调查,收集了学生意见。
针对学生的年龄和知识特点在教学中主要采用对话表演,看图说话,以及针对课文设计的话题讨论。
这些方式激发了学生的学习热情,活跃了课堂气氛,一些男生也开始喜欢说英语。
除了口语表达,还注重抓学生笔头的基本功,通过短语、句子翻译和其他大量练习巩固提高词汇语法基础。
经过一学期的训练,学生的句子翻译水平有明显进步。
3 在两门课中根据教材内容适当选取"走向未来"、"跟我学"等教学录象片辅助教学。
为学生提供了生动的语言环境,激发了学生的学习兴趣、活跃了课堂气氛,收到了良好的教学效果。
4 教学中努力探索以学生为中心,教师为主导的教学模式。
运用视听媒体,采用听说法、讨论法、表演等方式调动学生积极性。
注意引导学生积极思考,注重知识的归纳和总结,加强学法指导。
例如:如何记单词,课文朗读技巧,对话、叙述原则等。
学生的学习效率得到了提高。
二、在语言教学中注意文化知识的渗透。

三、认真使用电子教室,探索计算机辅助教学模式
1、本学期我任教的四个班中有三个班使用电子教室。
我课前认真备课,花了大量时间设计制作幻灯片。
每堂课严格按照学校的要求进行。
电子教室的使用加大了课堂教学容量和密度,提高了教学效率。
英语精读课尤为明显。
教师可以在短时间内对学生进行大量的高密度的语言训练。
学生的语言技能得到了提高。
2、根据课题适当使用电脑网络辅助教学。
例如:精读课中关于美国诗人艾伦坡和俄国文学大师托而斯泰的生平及作品介绍;公共英语课学习关于伦敦、哥伦布和大西洋等课文时,则带领学生在网上游览。
丰富的图片和文字资料扩大了教学容量,丰富了学生视野和知识面,使教学更加生动活泼。
但由于题材限制,网络辅助教学使用面不够广。
四、本学期在学校科组的配合下完成了全国"四结合"录象课的拍摄任务。
并以"节假日"一课参加了学校的探索课。
顺利完成了任务。
努力方向:今后应加强理论学习和实践交流,力求在教学方法上有所突破。
