Hello, everyone! My name is Lily and I am from Beijing, China. I am 16 years old and currently a high school student. I am delighted to have this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you.
First of all, let me tell you a little bit about my family. I live with my parents and my younger brother. My father is a doctor and my mother is a teacher. They are both very supportive and encourage me to pursue my dreams. My brother is in middle school and we get along very well.
In terms of my hobbies and interests, I have many. I am an avid reader and I enjoy reading books of various genres, from mystery to romance to fantasy. Reading not only broadens my knowledge, but also allows me to escape into different worlds and experience different emotions. Besides reading, I also love playing the piano. I have been playing since I was 6 years old and it has become a great passion of mine. Music has a way of expressing emotions that words cannot, and I find great joy in playing and sharing my music with others.
As for my academic achievements, I have always been a diligent student. I consistently achieve high grades in all my subjects and have won several academic awards. English is my favorite subject because I find it fascinating to learn about different cultures and communicate with people from around the world. I am also a member of the school debate team and have participated in various debate competitions, which has helped me improve my critical thinking and public speaking skills.
In terms of my future plans, I am currently preparing for the college entrance examination. I hope to study abroad and major in English literature. I have always been fascinated by the power of words and how they can shape our thoughts and emotions. I believe that studying English literature will not only allow me to pursue my passion, but also provide me with a solid foundation for my future career.
