从前，一只猴子种了些葡萄。秋天到了，晶莹的一串串葡萄像珍珠一样挂在了架子上。
于是有一天，狡猾的狐狸来这里偷葡
于是狐狸就把这件事告诉了小兔子，于是小兔子又对小猫说：“这个葡萄不是甜的，而是酸的。”于是森林里的个个小动物都说这个葡萄不是甜的，而是酸的。大家都不知道自己被这个狡猾的狐狸给骗了。
于是森林里的大王老虎决定举行一次会议。这次会议就是小猴子没有参加。
在会议上，森林大王为每个动物都发下一张纸。让每只动物在这张纸上写一下自己的决定。如果是选酸的票数多一点就是酸的，如果是甜的票数多一点就是甜的。
经过了三天紧张的考验，答案终于出来了。没想到这个葡萄是酸的。
于是过了几天，小兔、小猫、小狗他们去了小猴子家门口。小猴子正好要去吃自己种的葡萄了。小兔、小猫和小狗看见了小猴子拿起一串葡萄，迫不及待就要往嘴里送。站在旁边的小兔子说：“猴子哥哥，这个葡萄是酸的。不能吃。”猴子就说：“不信你尝尝，非常甜。”于是它们终于明白，原来什么事情都要试了先看，不能听别人的。因为耳听为虚，眼见为实。
