Hello everyone,
My name is Emily and I am a freshman at XYZ University. I am excited to be here today to introduce myself and share a little bit about my background.
I was born and raised in a small town in the outskirts of the city. Growing up, I have always been passionate about learning new things and exploring different cultures. This is one of the main reasons why I decided to pursue my education at XYZ University. I believe that being exposed to a diverse community will not only help me broaden my horizons but also allow me to meet people from various backgrounds and learn from their experiences.
In terms of my academic interests, I have always been fascinated by the field of psychology. Understanding the human mind and behavior has always intrigued me, and I am excited to explore this subject further during my time here at XYZ University. Apart from psychology, I also have a keen interest in literature. I find great joy in reading and analyzing different types of literature, as it allows me to delve into different worlds and gain a deeper understanding of the human experience.
Outside of academics, I am an avid sports enthusiast. I have been playing tennis since I was a child and have even represented my school in various tournaments. I believe that sports not only help in building physical strength but also teach important life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Apart from tennis, I enjoy going for long walks and exploring nature. There is something so refreshing about being surrounded by greenery and taking in the beauty of the natural world.
In terms of my goals for the future, I am still exploring different career paths and opportunities. However, one thing I am certain about is that I want to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Whether it is through my academic pursuits or any other avenue, I want to contribute to society and help make a difference.

It's my pleasure to be here in front of you to introduce myself.
I’m a freshman now studying in Materials Science and Engineering and I Just enter the university .
About my character, I can’t describe it well, but generally speaking ,I am a hard_working student especially when I do the things I am interested in.
And I am optimistic and confident.
Sometimes I prefer to stay alone, reading, listening to music, but I am not lonely, In my spare time,I often go shopping with my friends,surf on the Internet and do some sports,such as running,table tennis and roller_skating.
I like badminton very much.
I even got the 4th place in the badminton Competition in my school,which was a very glorious memory.
But now since I’m faced with School and activities,I can’t spend too much time doing sports.
